Raquel van Haver (1989) lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She graduated from the HKU, Fine Arts department in Utrecht. She contributed to group exhibitions at art spaces such as Framer Framed, Amsterdam and Fiesta del Fuego, Santiago de Cuba, and has had solo presentations at Jackbell Gallery London, Sanquin Amsterdam and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, among others. Works by van Haver have been included in numerous collections such as the Sanquin Art Collection and the collection of Otto Schaap. Van Haver has been listed most influential young artist under 30 in Forbes 30under30 in 2016 and won the prestigious Royal Award for Modern Painting in 2018 and the Stimuleringsprijs Amsterdam by AFK in 2019.
